Articles are credited to the T8 Exemption Editorial Team. Publication and modification dates appear on each article.

Sources and accuracy

Our editorial standard is to check regulatory reporting against primary sources, including GOV.UK, legislation.gov.uk and the Environment Agency, and link to supporting guidance. Scope 3 analysis draws on the GHG Protocol. Readers should confirm site-specific obligations with their regulator.

Proposals are not law

Consultations, draft regulations and expected parliamentary votes must be distinguished from enacted legislation. Proposed dates are labelled as conditional until approval is confirmed.
